Directions for the New Parent Portal

·         Go to the Gordon County Schools webpage –

·         Go to the Parents tab

·         Click on Parent Portal

·         Click on Portal Activation Key Lookup

·         Key in your child’s Social Security Number (NO dashes).  If you do not have this you must go to the front office and request it.  We can not provide this # over the phone.

·         Click on the submit button

·         It will give you a very long number (consisting of numbers and letters).  Either write it down or print that page.

·         Then click on Activate your Parent Portal Acct.

·         Type in the long number you were provided

·         Then set up your user name and password

·         After you hit submit, the screen will tell you “Congratulations on setting up your new parent acct.”
